"One Basic Word. Brown. Hope you like the color." Talk about turning EVERYONE away before they even download it!
Everybody stutters one way or the other, so check out my message to you. As a matter of fact don't let nothing hold you back - If the Doomkid can do it, so can you. Everybody says that the Doomkid stutters but doesn't ever stutters when he sings. What you don't know, I'm gonna tell you right now, that the Doom and the kid is the same thing.
Terrible, like most DM maps made by college kids in the early to mid 90's.. Though, I really wish I could get my friends into Doom DM mapping. That would be badass, I bet they had lots of fun making/playing these crappy levels.

    Soccer

Feels like a 1995 map... I will say, the way the field lights up when you hit the switch is pretty cool, but this idea has been done to death over the last 20 years.. idgames://4260 (FOOTBALL.zip) is a good example of the same damn thing 2 decades earlier. I wonder if people will still be making 'stadium' maps for Doom 20 years from now?

Looks damn fun, like all of Hellbent's DM stuff.

    LA23a

Like all Hellbent maps - Very basic texturing, but looks fun to play.

I would have loved to play as a blue marine back then. It's nice that we now have source ports, rendering this entirely obsolete!
Release dat is 1999, but I'm guessing these are actually much older. Like all DM turf from that era, these have aged horribly, but woulda been fun back in the "no rules" days. I fucking lol'd at the crushing bookshelves in map02!
Made in mid 1996. Very, very easy and very basic set of maps. Deathmatch would be horrible here, but they make for a fun 20 minute playthrough in SP. If you love OS/Vanilla stuff, this may be up your alley. Really, all this is missing by modern standards is more detail and more monsters. I had fun.
Visually pleasing, solid OS style map. Not boringly easy like most stuff from this era!

    DeeP v8.84

So glad Codeimp made Doom Builder... Deep was great way back when
Not really a fan of the 'old man' face, but the mapping in this is superb. Great techbase theme and balanced difficulty.

    Taxi #2

Pretty good map, other than that crappy teleporting part..

    SEAN200.WAD

very lame 1995 map, texturing is pretty much random and everything is a cube.

    The Duel (DUEL.WAD)

Looks like a bad dwango map. An entryway clone done all wrong, and way out of date by 1998. (Hey, that rhymed)
Good effort for 1994, but the stupid crusher part sucks ass. Why didn't he make the light spaces big enough for the player to fit in?? What's more, if you back out, you have to time it just right so the door actually opens! How frustrating. I woulda given 4 if not for this lame part, inexcusable even in 1994.
I woulda given this a 2 for the effort, because it's boring as fuck but there's that cool room with the graves, but the author calls it a ***masterpiece*** so instant zero

    WARCASTL.WAD

Not too bad, visually it's pretty dated and the layout is perfect, but it has appeal.

    GATUY

This map is really good for it's age. Fun little city map, easy too.

    uno.zip

Meh layout, poor texturing, kinda bad MIDI of Metallica. I've played this map online and the map was pretty frustrating.
Not all that bad, but I rand to map01's exit instantly without killing a single monster, just sr50 across the gap. Good for the time, kinda dull now.

    nuser.zip

Very usedul in this day and age, 10/10 -ign

    Atari Sounds

At the 3rd reviewer, -3 + 2 = -1, not 1, you dumbass. Anyway these sounds are really cool, but it's odd that the claw sound and SSG sounds aren't replaced. I like it though!
