There were so may 90's Doom maps made by ~20 year olds in college. Looks like another deathmatch map made to play with friends. Nothing of note here, a first or second map, I'm guessing.
It's so dark here, and man that stair case is LONG. Deathmatch would be frustrating to the point of hilarity, so this actually has some appeal for oldschoolers who don't take DM too seriously.
Not bad for its age, but there are huge open areas with literally nothing in them. They don't look horrible though, the texture picks are mostly cohesive. Map editors were hard to use back then, too. Someone could use these layouts and remake them into good maps.
Things were simple back in 1994, like this map for example. A little too simple, actually. Here we have an enormous, very plain DM arena with some columns and some enemies. Skip it - You've seen something like this before but probably better.
Pretty lame, just a bunch of sqaures that are different sizes. At least tey all use different textures, but there are much better maps to test the BFG's true capability. (Hell, any brit10 whorebag knows this, but since this is so old I can excuse it.)
GARBAGE and KILO are a fun set of very basic DM maps. Will bring any Doomers right back to 1995. I'll upload all of his single map wads as a group some time soon, it's worth it.
It's possible to make the sector move much faster than that, although perhaps that's only in Doom2. This is pointless to play these days, a few shotgunners and a bunch of guns laying around. Zzzz..
As usual, the type of thing you'd expect from a user named "Mmm, brother!". Aside from the (intentional?) bleeding sectors, the idea of eerie noise in texturing in Doom isn't bad at all, but the lack of anything to do makes this very pointless. Also, courage the cowardly dog.
Very plain map, play if you want to go back to 1995 for a few minutes. Not bad considering it was DEU built, he probably could have done a lot better with access to something sophisticated like Doom Builder.
Ooh, this is a nice little treat for deathmatchers. Why hasn't this been used in ZDDL or Duel32 or someshit? It's good visually and in layout, most people weren't making their maps look this nice in 2001.
