Doomed in SPACE: 13 Maps for ZDoom-based ports (fixed version)
Welcome to Doomed in SPACE!
The year is 2088. The UAC's current goal is to remove the line that separates men from machines. Certain undesirables are sacrificed, analyzed and experimented on for the sake of progress. The promise to integrate more effective weaponry directly into the human body keeps the research funds flowing in.
You are one of the UAC's victims - a genetically modified bounty hunter. You were stolen from your home colony as a child but proved harder to control than most of their young test subjects. Using your increased speed and strength, you managed to kill the men guarding your cell and escape in a stolen shuttlecraft.
That was 18 years ago. Crime is the only means of survival you have ever known. Once again, you find yourself locked in a cell, at the mercy of the UAC. An armed medic comes through the door and into your cell. As he checks your vitals, you quickly grab his head and snap his neck. His body lies on the floor and the gun is now in your hand - It's time to escape.
Important notes: You MUST play with freelook ON. Jumping and crouching must be turned OFF. You must also turn the 'infinitely tall actors' flag OFF, as there are several 3D bridges used throughout. Difficulty levels have been very thoroughly implemented, so if you're finding the maps too hard or too easy, simply adjust accordingly.
Levels designed by: Doomkid, Crunchynut44, Pinchy, Nevander, Bootleg Guy, Angry Saint, Fred512, Empyre, UberGewei and Mosshopper
Graphic resources: Obake (Wavegunner), Doom64, Duke Nukem 3D, Strife, Wolf3D, Star Wars: Dark Forces, area51.wad, equinox.wad, anubis.wad, skulltag.wad, Complex Doom, ChaosCore CTF (Map10 sky), Xaser
~ Special Info ~ Since you actually bothered to read the text file, I'll let you in on a couple secrets. In multiplayer, if you select the 'easy' or 'medium' difficulty levels, you will be faced with an entirely different arrangement of monsters, far more imposing! Hopefully this will allow your survival or co-op sessions to be fresh a second time around. There are also two hidden maps in this wad, at slots 31 and 32. They were created by myself and Joe-ilya. They are not a part of the official campaign and can only be accessed in game by cheating, but they seemed too good to simply discard. Just a little bonus for those of you who dig a tiny bit deeper than the others.
If you enjoy Doomed in SPACE, please be sure to let us know on the Doom forum of your choice. Everyone who worked to make this project possible would love to hear your thoughts.

Shovelware Adventure!
Welcome to Shovelware Adventure! This is a 100% vanilla compatible wad & dehacked file for DOOM II. This map is full of bloody battle arenas and slimy passageways! There are many secrets to discover and several paths to reach the exit. This map was designed with a high quality but oldschool 90's style in mind, the little gems with quirky graphic edits that you find on those old discs among 1000 random wadfiles - hence the name Shovelware Adventure. It's meant to feel like a mini-episode despite being just one lone map. The objective is to pump rockets into the core and blow the place up! Difficulty settings have been thoroughly implemented, so if it's too hard on Ultra Violence, switch it to HMP or HNTR :)
If you are playing in a ZDoom based port, there is no need to load the included .deh file - It is there for older/classic ports such as Chocolate Doom.
Have fun!94 downloads

DWANGO: 21st Anniversary
Happy 21st Anniversary! DWANGO is now officially old enough to buy booze. Due to the popularity of the Dwango 20th anniversary mappack (DWANGO20.wad), I've decided to start up a project with a similar but slightly different vision. Last year, we gave the DM mappers of the 90's the spotlight and focused on a true OS-style, however this year we've switched to focusing on the current community. This is a blend of the old and the new - It breathes fresh blood into map themes and layouts heavily inspired by our old favorites (and is definitely not to be taken too seriously!) After we all worked our butts off, we came to 25 maps. Happy fragging, Doomers!
MAPLIST:
01- 21st Anniversary - Doomkid 02- Deimos Deathmatch - NoneeLlama & the_miano 03- Death Trap - Deathtrap 04- Splattercourt - Captain Toenail 05- Cat and Mouse - Deathtrap 06- Lockdown - Captain Toenail 07- Base E2 - NoneeLlama 08- Threshold - Cpt. POINT of CONTENTION
Hello all my dooming friends! I'm here to release a map I've created recently, Point of Contention. There are five spawns - Two start with the chaingun and three with the shogun. There is a central SSG that is equidistant from each spawn. There is also a plasma gun, blue armor and soulsphere present. This makes for a frantic 1v1 map which can be played in two different ways:
Option#1 (Recommended) - Play with NOS flags: Items Respawn, Freelook on, No Jump. With NOS flags, this map will be all about moving through this tight little spaceship as fast as you can. Continue to grab the soulsphere and blue armor, then nab the BFG and re-juice it with fresh ammo from the provided plasma gun.
Option#2 - Play with pure OS flags: Freelook, Jumping, and Item respawn all OFF. This creates a map where you will absolutely need that SSG, and it will become a king of the hill scenario around the BFG lift. Whoever is best at defending it will come out on top, but they will have to grab that plasma gun to reill their ammo at some point, so keep a sharp eye on your enemy!
This wad is very unforgiving to new players - It's designed to reward knowledge of your guns, constant movement and reading your opponent. I don't think I'll make another map quite in this style again. Oh, and of course, this runs in Zdaemon, Zandronum and Odamex. I had a lot of fun making it and hope you have a lot of fun playing it.15 downloads

Doomkid's Duelzones!
Here we have 7 duel maps which I've worked very hard on perfecting. I know it's a bit less than my previous releases, but the lesson here is quality over quantity! The texturing is cleaner than my old stuff, but more importantly, the item and weapon placement is FAR superior. These are designed to be true skilltesters - You'll have to know exactly what weapon to use and when to defeat your foes, and use of enviromental cover is crucial to victory. Simply put, I went in with a "designed for tournament use" mentality. A big thankyou to MrCrispy, Decay, Ru5tK1ng, The_Miano and a few other beauties out there for your critiques and advice while constucting this set. It's because of your input that these turned out nicely, rather than just another "king of the items" DK_DM mapset.15 downloads

Doomkid's Deathmatch 3!
Greetings Deathmatch fanatics! I've slaved over Doom Builder yet again and constructed 12 more deathmatch maps for some fun fresh fragging. These ones are a bit different than my older maps, I went in with the goal of creating some really powerful, replayable layouts. The better you know the turf, the better you'll do in game - There are lots of secrets and hidden bonuses.21 downloads

Sinister Seven - Vanilla Maps by Doomkid
7 sp/coop maps, vanilla compatible (besides map07), with some fresh sprites - I added the extra marine and zombieman rotation angles (Thanks Mr. Romero!). Some of these maps are from submissions to communtiy projects. Special thanks to The_Miano, MrCrispy, Scifista42, TimeOfDeath, pcorf, Buckshot, and everyone else out there who helped or inspired me in some way to make these maps :) STORY: (Continues from the end of 'UAC Rebellion') "The UAC recovered from the destruction left in the rebel's wake. He had taken out most of the head men with brute force and even managed to close the gate to hell they had opened. Most of the survivors thought he was crazy, but some said he was a twisted hero who saw the bigger picture. The fact is, his attempt to stop the UAC failed - He was killed shortly after his return to Earth by a group of hostiles who had survived his rampage. They immediately began rebuilding the destroyed facilities. They rewrote history, erasing the evidence that the UAC had ever experimented on humans, painted the rebel as nothing more than a "cold hearted lunatic", gained support and funding from Earth's remaining population and used it to continue their interdimensional research. I knew the rebel personally. I was with the group of supporters who he let go. I knew the UAC were corrupt bastards as soon as people started going missing. I heard they killed the rebel and were rebuilding, so I prepared myself. Today, it happened - The sky turned a bright red. Two massive portals opened above us. The demonic aliens swept through our base and took out or possessed almost everyone.. Those evil UAC bastards had done it again, only worse. Their plan to brainwash the masses worked, and now destruction incarnate is pouring in from the sky. I can't explain why they want to see the world burn - but here I am, presumably the only survivor in a military base full of hellspawn. It's time to put my training to the test. I know of a spot where I can escape to sea and ride this invasion out on the water. I wonder if anyone else has survived.." I hope you all have fun with these. Difficulty levels are very thoroughly implemented, so if you're finding it too hard, just turn it down a notch! These should also be perfect for survival mode (one of my favorite gamemodes!)91 downloads

Doomkid's Deathmatch 4! [Quick n' Dirty speedmaps]
Hello again DM lovers! Here I have 12 maps I whipped up fairly quickly that are sure to please. Serious matches can be had with 2-4 players, but it goes insane with 8+! I have made the BFG optional, because I know a lot of people don't like it (see: whining). Select Skill 1/2 for Soulsphere, 3 for Invisibility sphere, and 4/5 for the BFG - It's the best option, of course!12 downloads

DWANGO 20th Anniversary Edition
31 maps created between 1994 and 1998 by the Dooming community of yesteryear, and a map by myself. There's a nice mix of duel maps and all-out FFA maps which seem to have been lost in time, and I thought it was appropriate for Dwango's 20th anniversary to bring them back to the surface! All of these WADs give consent for distribution - check DWANGO20_DOCS for more information. Map01 was created in the spirit of DWANGO and can also be found in DK_DM_2.wad, but this version is better :)69 downloads

ZMatch: 3rd STRIKE!
Z-Match: 3rd Strike is a collection of 14 maps with a hellish, almost medieval theme. Inspiration is taken from several great WADs, but this pack has a unique identity that it brings to the table. Gameplay and detail were top priority while designing these - You will -not- get bored playing them!24 downloads

Deathmatch Guns by DoomKid
Am I the only one who likes the thought of a gun mod for Deathmatch that isn't over the top? I've seen many mods out there like Brutal Doom, Real Guns Advanced and even Burl Tumd, and while they're all REALLY fun, they seem to make things just a tad too unbalanced for Deathmatch play. (If you haven't played those wads, go do it now.) The aim of this pack is to keep the guns feeling like classic DOOM guns, while souping them up just a tad and keeping them fair. The fist is now a bayonet that deals just over double damage. The pistol is now a machine gun, so no more running arround with the pea shooter! The shotgun is now automatic, making it a fair fight against the SSG, which is also slightly more powerful. The chainsaw now has 2 blades - the most unoriginal idea in Doom history, but damn, I love it anyway. It deals double damage as well, of course.66 downloads

Doomkid's Deathmatch 2!
Hello again fellow Doomers. Here I have 15 more deathmatch maps for you all to enjoy, as usual! I think people who are familiar with my deathmatch stuff will find these to be above my previous par - I spent more time than usual working on tactical layouts and clean visuals, while keeping the maps fairly simple/accessable to any player of any skill level. Some of these are remakes of older maps of mine, but revamped for a deathmatch. If you're familiar with them you'll have an advantage when you play online. Each map is full of secrets so wall humping anything that may look out of place is always a good idea. Map10 has a -ton- of secret areas and walls that can be walked through, and the layout of the map changes a lot if all the switches are found, turning it from a tactical map with hiding spots into a totally level playing feild. I hope you all enjoy these, I had a lot of fun making them and testing them with other doomers!23 downloads

Doomkid's Deathmatch!
Here are 15 Vanilla-limit removing DM maps for your enjoyment. Some are known to crash DOS Doom 2 (Damn Visplane overflows!) but every other port including Zdoom, Zdaemon, Zandronum and Doom Legacy all run them just fine. I put a lot of calculation into these layouts, especially regarding the BFG. Good luck finding it and use it wisely, or just grab the SSG and go nuts! Some of these maps were originally for Deathmatch Revival, thanks to the DMR team, W1D3A55, Doomguy93, Joe Pallai and a big shout out to Death Egg and the Switcherdoom! team as well. Cheers!21 downloads

The Devilz Work
Hello fellow Doomers! Here are 7 SP/coop maps designed for DOS Doom2. I put a lot of calculation into these regarding ammo and health balance. Difficulty levels are present, but only in terms of power-ups rather than monster count. They go in order from easiest to hardest, with map01 having about 50 monsters, and map07 having over 400. Every map has secrets to hunt for, and I've attempted to make them look "detailed" within DOS mapping limitations. I found no visplane overflows when playing through these, so if you do, please notify me! :) Naturally, jumping and crouching should be disabled when playing these, since they're intended for vanilla play. Have fun!!83 downloads
