(Gnabsch is german and means: gnuh-bsh exactly what it sounds like!(onomatopoeia rulez))

Once again I started working on a new Pwad. This one only works with DOOM ver 1.9, because of the huge and many Sectors. It includes the a bable-like tower and the crusching marble-block. (both nice to look at!)

  3. GETREDE

This is my first 2 level original wad. The first has metal textures in the beginning but then goes into a rock and brick textures. The 2nd level stares off with a night setting in a small house populated area, the idea is to get into the castle. But first you must get the RED key in the tower. HINT get the protective suit just prior in attempting to get the RED key.

  7. Hells kitchen. (Just like mama used to make).

Designed to be played as a single player or in deathmatch. Doom 2. Larger than the original level! DON'T waste your time endlessly pushing walls. (Although some people deserve to be shot). You are in a dingy cell where you were being held for... something. (You probably didn't do it, I know I never did). Having just overpowered guard and taken his weapon you set out to escape. Good luck. This level was designed to be used in very subdued light with gamma correction (F11) set to 2. This level started out as a test of DCK and just sort of grew. It is really a test of what the various tools are capable of. Then a friend told me he enjoyed deathmatch games, but only had doom 2. His name is Frank, and he hates being called Frankie. (You'll see when you play).

  9. Games

Games is a collection of 3 WADS. It is called Games because you have some rules and limitations while playing the levels. The rules are there to force the player to do some things (to run, to take care at what he shoots and when, to save ammo etc.). Basically, I tried to keep things dinamic.

All three levels are wide ones and there is no hard enemies - just two Cybers in the first level. Anyway, see the description of each level at the end of this file.

  11. Heh.wad

This is (was) my first attempt at constructing a level for Doom. If I did good at anything, I think it was the texturing. You may notice when playing on skill 04 that each time you start the level over, the monsters will do things differently than they did before. This makes for interesting game play. There is no story or plot to this map. It's basically just a bang, bang, shoot em up type level. This wad is best played on skill 04. I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to e-mail me.

  13. Hide In One Of 4 Toillets Or Die

This WAD is based on a true story. One day I've had a terrible rush finding a good public toillet. I ran from one toillet to another and I realized how important they can be in true life.

You'll find four toillets in the corners of the main room in wich you'll just have to hide. I put a lot of health so the game shouldn't slow down for loading when they kill you.

There is also two secret rooms. One of them is filled with goodies but I think you can do without them. The other is not so secret but you'll have to enter in, if you want 100% secrets.

  21. HELL: A taste of REAL HELL

****HELL2.WAD: A level 30 DOOM 2 WAD V1.2*** It is what I believe is the closest representation of true biblical hell that I can get DOOM 2 to simulate. No imp-shotgun fodder here. No mortal will survive, eternal suffering is gaurenteed. YOU WILL TRUELY BURN IN HELL (GOD mode is a must--and you can still die, and happy ammo is highly recommended). 4 player starts, 8 deathmatch starts, difficulty levels used. Includes a Dehacked 3.0a patch to make the level even better. Created with DCK 3.61 & ZenNode. Tested with DOOM II 1.9WAD/Ultimate DOOM EXE New version has minor inprovements and new graphics, sounds, and music!

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
