  1. BLOOD ON THE WALZ VERSION 1.0

This is the first release of a few levels that I have done for Doom. They take place in levels 1 through 4 on mission 1. They were created in the order that they are played in, so the first level seems less well rounded but level 4 has some excellent design.

  2. ¡Bulla!

An open space, full of strange buildings and hordes of enemys with very bad temper. Luckily, there's enough ammo for all of them. Try to take some of the shotguns of the sargeants that appears behind the grate: you will live more.

I made this level during the winter of 1998, and at first I included it in the episode that I was doing at that time... In 2002 I retouched it, adding a new sky graphic and a "new" music, and I released it separately. This modified map was presented at the 3rd Cabro's map tournament.

  5. Smoke The Beehive

This level is based on a Doom map that I made in 1996 called Beehive.

Tips: There's always a way in and always a way out. The computer map powerup is your friend. There is no such thing as too many imps. Happiness is a warm gun. Don't panic. Etc.

A Level that was originally made for a megawad (but got too complicated so I decided to release this level alone. (since it was the only decent level, in my opinion). This is my second released wad.

  7. Blitz Of Pain

Get ready to move once you leave the first room. Lots of action. Good luck on the final blitz. This level is best with single player but is set up to be played with multiple players. Tough to play on less than 486.

  13. Enigmatic Complex Computer Lab version 2.0

    (For story see comp-ful.txt)

Type complex to begin. The DeHackEd patch changes the level names under the map.

Enigmatic Complex is a large wad (it jams up DEU 5.21 and BSP 1.2) that largely takes place inside a, suprise, large complex. It is the first level of a new Doom. It takes me around twenty minutes to complete with 100% on everything, so it will probably take you a little longer. The dificulty goes from easy to hard. In UV you should be able to make it through the fighting without too much trouble, but there are some hairy moments that will probably kill you when you first run across them. The "marble" area has 155 monsters. There was originally going to be a lot more to this level (like bathrooms, a mess hall, and secruity cameras), but I ran out of memory. I tried to make this as bug-free as possible without sacrificing parts of the level. I also tried to align every texture (manually). I didn't do one area with pentagon wall textures, 'cause those damn things are too hard to align. Anyway, if you find any bugs, e-mail me. Also, feedback! Please give plenty of feedback! I'd enjoy seeing some demos of this level, too.

  14. Cleaning Of All Kind

This mornig your boss was in a bad mood: the coffee vending machine is out of order. That's the reason why you find yourself at the entrance of the C.R.R.G.E. (Center for Research on Regressive Genetical Experiments). Bad luck. This building was abandonned and closed some years ago because of an experiment that has gone wrong. All that we know is that this building is full of 'half-intelligent' and bellicous genetical monsters. Woah, and your boss has sent you in there with a little ridiculous gun... 'Try not to waste the ammunitions!', he said before you entered. Ha! A bullet in his head! That's all what your boss should earn...

But if you want to shoot one in his head, you'll have to come alive out of this building: your lovely boss did solder the door behind you... Through the door you just heared an ugly voice screaming 'Good luck!', immediately follewed by the 'PoP!' of a champagne cork...

þ In order to finish the level, you don't need to discover any secret room, just go where you haven't been.
    þ Lots of secret rooms
þ Ultra-Violence can be very difficult. It depends on the good will of the Cyberdemon. In the same room are eight meatballs (Cacodemons), and if the Cyberdemon doesn't kill any of them, I wish you good luck if you really hope to survive...
þ I included a demo of myself finishing the level on Ultra-Violence. Perhaps the demo won't work on some DooM.exe because the demo was recorded using DooM.exe V1.6 Beta...
þ The level is a bit slow on Ultra-Violence. On the other difficulty levels it's quite fine.
    þ No BFG9000

  15. The Classic Episode

An episode in the classic Doom style. The goal is to recreate as accurate as possible the atmosphere of the original id levels. This is a collection of the previous classic releases (classic1 - classic7) plus two new levels. All maps support coop play and maps E2M1, E2M2, E2M6, E2M8, and E2M9 are recommended for deathmatch modes.

My first and probably not last WAD. Just a level I drew up late one night when I couldn't sleep. My levels WILL get better as I learn how to better use the level editor I have chosen. ---Hint--- There are some secret areas you must pass through to complete the level.

  25. Barons o' fun

Try to get the barons close to each other and then get one of 'em to blow up a barrel in front of 'em.

You should warp straight to E1M8, and there's no way you could win this with pistol, you need to do the trick explained above. It can take a while and a lot of tries to finish this, but it can be done. And don't shoot the barons! Don't even blow up the barrels yourself, or it will be much harder!

I genuinely enjoyed this mod with its level design and music. It was challenging and interesting and it kept me playing a while after beating it to try to find anything. though I would say it was slightly repetitive and overwhelming with enemies at some moments.

Writing a review for Darkening 2 is tough. It's a beloved megawad, and for good reason. As many other reviewers have said, it is historically a very important project.   It was an important megawad for me personally. I fell in love with the first level in particular. The music, the realistic architecture, so reminiscent of the video games of the 90s... It all left a lasting impression. And it was one of the most beautiful wads I've seen at the time.   But I rarely played anyt

A competently made map, for sure, but fun? It's way too long and repetitive, with same-y combat & ambush scenarios used again and again, and with way too much enemies, and not that much of a challenge, even for me who isn't exactly fond of "SUPER HARD WAD #9263!!!!11!. You can cut the whole thing in half, and then cut THAT half in half, and it would be a better map. Is it bad? No, just a little bit above average, mostly because it drags a bit too long.

Generally good map design, but the difficulty as is the case with pwads tends to be uneven even on HMP, especially when you mix them with what slaughtermaps tend to be (monster spam). Too many parts where, after pressing a switch, you'll spend some time killing enemies only to realise the map maker tried to get cute and spawned a bunch of hidden archviles somewhere to start reviving everyone while you were busy wasting ammo. This is especially unfun in parts with very little cover where you'll b

I like the part where I pay for the numerous murders I committed by getting beaten up by either a Mancubus or an Arachnotron, it changed my outlook on Monster Priority. Thank you "Problematic" Revenant #7, I have yet to find a way to repay him.
