Yeah, FWIW, I went off the textfile, which says Boom-compatible. But I can treat both cl21 and 9 as compatible for this WAD, sure. :P

Mayan Mishap

MAP01 NM-100S in 00:21.86 - t-maya01ns0021.zip

I accidentally stopped the demo recording while in the level end screen before it showed the secret count achieved. I hope this demo is still legal as I tagged the secret and exited the level, which is verifiable by the extended HUD that was used during recording.

As long as you reached the intermission, it doesn't matter if you see the numbers.

Mayan Mishap

These demos were recorded to show how to beat MAP01 relatively easily and consistently in a casual playthrough on Nightmare Speed and NM-100S. Shorttics recommended for better alignment for the SR50 jump. The txts also have strategies written down for help.

Casual playthrough of Mayan Mishap MAP02 single segment with pistol start

 

1 Flying Mancubus teleports into a tree and gets stuck, at coordinates 688,3900
The teleporter destination is too close to the tree
As such, I think 369 kills is the maximum since 370 - 1

I do not know how to consistently get the archviles to not teleport away, in order to setup the AV jump to get the BFG
See below failed demo at around the 3 minute mark, one of the archviles does not teleport away, allowing the player to AV jump to get the BFG
But nothing I have tried consistently recreates the conditions to get the BFG
