A very short update this time, as Wildman Rick Clark has posted an online Character Generator, as well as an online Dice Roller! For the true mouse potatoes who are too lazy to write up your own characters and roll a pair of dice on your own; this is definitely for you!
Mega64 v6.1, which appears to actually be the name of the webpage, has updated with their first tutorial for ZDoom editing, available in both English and French, which deals with creating a breakable window via ACS. And as for ZD3K, there will be a second version released which will include lots of improvements over the original.

Is it just me, or is this getting old. PlanetQuake has gone on with another article on the new Doom. Now is it just me, or should this be on a different planet than PQ? But seriously, the article has a few good points, but something really got under my skin:
I\'m sorry, joins the ranks? Erm, I\'m sorry there sonny, but Doom was there long before Quake was even conceived. But either way, thanks go to [DSM]Jugglah for the tip on the article. Update by Linguica: Cov, what have I told you about skipping those anger management classes...

Tarin has updated with his page at a new home, due to the inclusion of PHP in his new site design as well as news of a new program he's working on. It's a texture p1mp program that should help save nuts like Afterglow many an hour or four. Go check it out... there is even mention of some contest being run by some silly Doom site out there some where.

Colin Phipps, man behind the Doom Underground and LxDoom has released a new version of the beloved BSP. This is Colin\'s first release of the program since he has taken it over. To compliment it he has added a BSP and Doom Node Building mailing list over at Sourcefourge. I\'m sure you\'ll find Mord or Linguica will get around to uploading a mirror sometime.

Those number-two nuts at the Public DANG have done it again, with plenty of second and third-rate DOOM recordings for you to watch in a state of almost-amazement! An entire 157 demos to waste your vacation time on. And if ever feel a little uneasy in the stomach while watching these demos, remember; fresh popcorn makes a difference.

Woo, the 10 Sectors Contest continues. A good 80% of you would like to continue seeing random anonymous screenies from submitted levels, and I figure that\'s enough to continue doing so. Some of the recent entries have me going \"this is only 10 sectors?\" and I am pretty surprised when I go into the level editor and confirm that yes, these people are making some really nice levels with the mere 10 sectors they have been given. Here\'s a cool tech level I\'ve gotten:
Oh yeah... Fanatic has offered to donate two Fragging Fanatical CDs to give to the second and third place WAD authors to make that pain of losing a little more bearable. Also remember that if your WAD is in one of the top 32 it gets into the 10 Sectors megawad, which is already looking to be the most anticipated WADs of the year (at least, in my biased opinion).
Ah yes, and I turned off anonymous posting for now... if you have some reason you think it should stay on, email me with a reason.
