A GZDoom mapping and texture filtering fan - but only with hi-res textures! I also like playing Doom, Quake and Duke3D in PCem with CRT shaders, can compose some OPL3/GM music.
I have a whole new Doom 2 styled episode in progress made exclusively for GZDoom and LZDoom.
I believe that Doom needs a fully fledged modern software rendered polygonal 3D engine that could run at least as fast as Quake on a Pentium-100 CPU. I stand back for UDMF features and want a multilayered geometry maps, with such 3D elements like trees, bridges and other decorations, coupled with additional layer of collision mesh, multistaged terrain, reflection and animated light maps on everything for more consistency. I want GZDoom-Quake for DOS or Vavoom but faster and better, which is impossible, yet, sweet dreams.
