    DWBS

    By Linguica, in News,

Wednesday's question evoked quite a few responses, with E1Mx seeming to be the favorite set of levels for a lot of people. Episode 1 of Doom seems to have attained almost mythical proportions among many people, who will rank it among one of the greatest gaming experiences of all time. Why do people still love Knee-Deep In The Dead so much? Is it because it was their first taste of Doom, and maybe of first-person shooters in general? People who were weaned on FPSes after Doom and came back to try out Doom episode 1 tend not to find it a very big deal, while those who played it early on still find it awesome and great fun. Why do you think that is?

What game will id pursue next? A lot of people are hoping that the word "Doom" will have something to do with id's next project, but no one knows for sure. First up is a quote from id Software's Graeme Devine from DiabloII.com where he discusses inspiration for id's next game.
Also, in an interview earlier today about Daikatana, John Romero was posed the following question:
    Comments?

Ugh, being sick is not fun... especially during finals week. I got some good feedback to what people considered to be the worst levels of Doom and Doom 2, with Map24 and Map30 garnering a lot of the votes, and maps 13, 14 and 15 being pretty disliked as well. After all this pessimism, the perfect followup question would be, which standard Doom or Doom 2 map do you like the most? Personally I'm a big fan of E1M5 and Map02. You?

    DWBS

"DWBS" is an acronym, figure out what it stands for yourself. Now that we have this godlike comments system I figure that I might as well use it. Sure, I know that people are just clamoring to post their reactions to the latest round of "Joe Blow updated his Doom page" news postings, but maybe I'll give people something better to talk about.
Today's topic: Which standard Doom or Doom 2 level do you hate the most?
