News
We got an email from Laz of WolfenDoom about the upcoming re-release of Arctic Wolf:
The Parallel Team isn't dead after all. Rumors are always not to be believed. News has been revealed on their present, that has been delayed. Mostly because it has grown much more than they had anticipated. But the big news, the thing that everyone wants to know: "What is going on with PD2?". Well folks, they are giving you their answer. And to tell you the truth, sounds quite tasty if you ask me.

A big fat juicy update over at The Darkening. Many things are discussed in this healthy four-paragraph update. There's news of a new Darkening E2 addon, some Darkening demo goodness, and a little bragging about a mention of Darkening E2 at another site. Go enjoy this update while it's still on top!

Over at Fanatic's Asylum, there's some very special news relating to some of Fanatic's music. You could even go far enough to say that it's going to be on the radio. And somehow, underneath it all, Nostromo, co-author of Hacx, has something to do with all of this. Before you collapse in excitement, go see what this is all about!

That's right, Skull Tag has posted one of its usual updates! It seems to be short news this time. They've released a FAQ for all things Skull Tag. But be careful though! It's a DOC. I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt. Use it at your own risk.

No, none of that tasty project progress report this time. Nothing major, except that over at the RTCDoom site, two new level reviews have been put up for common viewage! I\'m not going to tell you which levels they were, however, it seems that one of the levels reviewed in question has used the name of a level from Duke Nukem 3D. But no matter. Whatever the case, two nifty new reviews have been put up. Go see! (They\'re at the bottom.)

And heads on over here to DW. About time too I might add. Mord has updated with a new look to the site as well with the usual state of the project. Some news on the engine, some news on the new levels. Some talk about 10 sectors again. Man, what is it with this 10 sectors stuff? But you know you wanna mosey on over and check it all out.

Unholy Software has updated again with news on their project status as well as a little buzz on 10 sectors. Seems a little break was in order for Unholy, cause they are now back in full swing again. So just goes to show you, in a rut, take a nice long break from everything.

Status update: the judging of the 10 Sectors contest is going well, with the judges continuing to slog through the 138 levels submitted. Matt Dixon has sent me his list of his 10 favorite levels, and they are all, for lack of a better word, "kickass." Still no timetable on a release but hopefully the judges will get their asses in gear (AndrewB, Mordeth, Martin Friberg, Malcolm Sailor, ahem).

That's right, SLIGE has updated! But don't get too excited now. It isn't big news. Not an update of the actual SLIGE engine itself. Simply news of a very neat frontend for it. There's also some other news related to SLIGE. Here's a snippet...
... Yeah. What he said. So go on over and check out the neat frontend, while the getting's good!
