Well, that's what I think of when I hear the name to the home of SMMU. What is on the update? Well stuff all about networking! Of course, I mean, that is going to be the next big project for everyone here in the community that is coding an engine is networking. After all that is the one thing Doom truly needs to get it back into the "game" so to speak. And with some of the coding talent we have working on it, I personally think we could get it done. SMMU definately looks to be like one of the ones that will definately be in there in the final leg of this race.

Sergey Makovkin has released v4.0 (final) of his DoomBot. Based on ZDoom v1.18a, it supports CTF (two CTF maps are included), internet play and has an improved node system for bot navigation. This project is now closed and the author will focus his attention to either an OpenGL or a client/server-style Doom project.
You can get DoomBot v4.0 binaries and source at our source port section. Last but not least, head over to Captain Mellow's for a good discussion on the DoomBot's pros and cons.
