Javier Almenara Otoya sent word that he's planning a sequal to his Heretic project "You Will Die!", consisting of five new levels. He's hoping for a release date somewhere next month. It's good to see that not all Heretic designers have faded away! According to the email his site can be found here, but try as I might I didn't find this particular project. However, the site does contain several Doom utilities, tutorials and resource WADs.
X-Doom sent word that a second version of his project ZD3K is due to be released next Friday, if all's well. It'll have new scrips, sounds, textures and six new maps. He hasn't updated his page accordingly, but I guess you can still find more information there.

The end is nigh! Repent! Only seven more days in our 10 Sectors Contest! For all of you who have yet to submit an entry (or entries) into our contest, you still have one week, so get cracking! There has been a unseasonably large number of entries coming in lately, with no less than 11 entries coming in yesterday alone (?!?). That brings the total number of entries to date to 71 -- and I would really like to get to 100, if for no other reason than it's a bigger number than 71. That would mean 29 of you would have to enter. Do you think you can do it? Do you have what it takes to use 10 sectors? It's the true test of manhood, unless you're a girl, in which case it's the true test of womanhood, I guess.
