No, not the androgynous pop star. Bobby Prince, the man behind the music of Doom and Doom 2, has been tapped to compose the soundtrack to the latest game by Digital Soapbox, according to the Gamers.com report. Seems the mystery game hasn\'t been officially announced, but it is apparently a story-driven adventure game.
Voodoo Extreme has posted the third and final part of their John Carmack interview. Here's a snippet:

My good friend Lowtax over at Something Awful has sent me some exclusive information he managed to obtain from Christian Antkow of id Software about the new Doom game. I should note that this info might very well spoil the game for some of you, so I've blacked it out in case you don't want to see it. Highlight below to read: There will be NO maps that take place in Shea Stadium. Elvis will NOT be a selectable character. The game will NOT be like Q-Bert or Maze Craze. I know, I am as shocked and amazed as you are. Thanks Lowtax and Xian!

There's only three days left in our 10 Sectors Contest! You have until midnight on Sept. 22 to get those entries in -- so start wrapping up those decisector masterpieces and send them in. Voodoo 5 5500, prestige, fame and beautiful women, blah blah blah. You only have to listen to me pimp this contest once more, so send in those entries or you might force me to extend the contest and keep writing these things.

At Wim Vanrie\'s site there\'s a Boom demo competition for \"Phouse: The great arena\" going on. \"Phouse\" was reviewed earlier here on Doomworld. At Parker\'s site, which some of you might know for its Doom site webring, there\'s information on a sequal to the megawad Pir. At the moment they have completed thirteen levels, and are looking for beta testers. At Jive\'s you can find a collection of (resource) wads, intended to be run in Doom Legacy.
