    By Linguica, in News,

Teppic has updated his homepage with a mirror of some pictures taken by unfy of the Doom figurines he recently bought. The Doom marine is a lot smaller than I would have imagined, but oh well.

    Half Bakered

    By Linguica, in News,

NiGHTMARE's Haunt has been updated with news about all of the various projects Nick Baker is involved in. Execution now has new textures replacing those infamous "borrowed" ones, MorbidDM2 continues, his Twice Risen levels are close to completion, he's rejoined Mordeth E2, he's begun a new Hellstorm map, etc etc etc. Lots of stuff to peruse.

Team Insanity has updated with a review of Marduk by Patrik Höglund. For some odd reason Chief has also been watching Star Wars Episode 1 I guess (maybe the version released in Australia didn't suck, or something).

The OpenGL Doom Legacy site has updated with news that the next final version of this source port will be released on April 15th. It's not exactly clear which features are going to make it or not, but "be sure it will be as stable as possible".

There's a new progress report over at the csDoom site. This client/server Doom port-to-be is now based on ZDoom v1.22. There's also a list of things that need to be done before a first beta can be released, which is expected to happen in a month or two. Go give this project a looksie!
