Doom II: List of all hard wads

I havent found a list of all difficult wads and it sad, that on doomworld idgames dont have a difficult rating.

Now I write here name of WADs. If you know some WAD, writte here and I edit a list. Please, dont recomendate me a troll or boring looking WADs.

Difficulty Rating Scale:

1 = A bit Hard
2 = Hard
3 = Very Hard
4 = Extremely Hard
5 = Nearly Impossible

X = Unknown

Difficulty measure standart of level hard (2) = Deus Vult, HR2, AV, Scythe2 and Sunder.
If some think, that other WAD is more hard than these Wads, this WAD will move on "very hard" difficulty etc.

Nuts is on level hard, but not extreme. Some strategies and it passable

Okupluk's map is a 3 for sure. Incredibly long with surprisingly little in the way of healing available. In comparison to other 1s and 2s listed, Sunder is a 1. Nuts should not be on the list; it's below a 1 for sure.

Okuplok I think can be on 2 (watched azuruish video). Which rating would you give on Nuts II and III?

I was referring to the Nuts series. All three maps are below a 1.

I also noticed Swift Death got a 2; it's definitely below that, a 1 at highest.

Scythe I and II basically only become a 1 for short stretches.

Journey to Hell was not finished but I think it also counts. Maybe that's like a 3 also?

It's a bit strange to see AV, Scythe, HR and SoD ranked the same as Sunlust. The former are nowhere close in difficulty and have only a few maps to qualify as "hard". As far as megawads go, Resurgence and Urania are definitely harder than those.

And where's Plutonia, Plutonia 2, and PRCP? Surely they are hard wads too, aren't they?

If AV and Scythe 1 are included then anything harder than an IWAD can technically fit.

Still, Plutonia is definitely the hardest IWAD, but if we're only going for PWADs, then most certainly Plutonia 2 and PRCP.

CHORD series has to be mentioned, not insanely brutal but still pretty damn hard.

Also as rileymartin mentioned, Scythe and even HR aren't really all that hard. Above the iwads, but that's about it - they're a walk in the park compared to some of these.

Ok, I think we need some difficulty measure standart... What about this therm for example most popular WAD: Deus Vult, HRI+II, AV, ScytheI+II and Sunder are on level "hard"? If some think, that other WAD is more hard than these Wads, then this WAD will move on "very hard" difficulty?

Why do you have the difficulty "Almost Impossible" and no levels in that category? What kind of doom god are you that you've never encountered a luck based map? A lot of these are luck based.
When I make a chart like this I make sure there is at least one thing in each extreme. Bump those 0.5 difficulty maps up to 1s the 1s up to 2s and the 2s up to 3s or that chart doesn't really work.

All three of them would be a (2) hard. Also, Hell Revealed 2 is much harder than Hell Revealed 1. Scythe 2, Speed of Doom, Sunder, Sunlust, Swim with the Whales, Deus Vult, and Slaughterfest 2012 are much harder than HR and AV too. Come to think of it, by today's standards, HR1 and Scythe wouldn't be exactly qualified as "hard." True that they're a bit tougher than Plutonia 1, but most of the maps would qualify as "a bit hard" with only a handful of levels that would be "hard."

Plutonia -> 1
Plutonia 2 and PRCP -> 2

I still don't think you are appreciating Okupluk's wad from the perspective of human players. Azu's video is TAS of course, as you know. Swift Death and Okupluk's wad having the same rating is absurd. Swift Death > Sunlust is ridiculous too.
